Sizing DOWN (making smaller): The goldsmith measures your exact finger size using calibrated ring gauges, removes a micro-precise section from the base of the band, re-aligns the contour, and laser-solders the joint. The seam is meticulously filed, sanded, and wheel-polished until the join is 100% invisible to the naked eye. The ring retains its roundness and full structural strength.

Sizing UP (making larger): The goldsmith cuts the base of the shank, expands the diameter on a jeweler’s steel mandrel, and inserts an exact matching piece of pure precious metal. For 22K gold rings, the inserted metal is certified 22K gold — ensuring the royal yellow color, density, and hallmark purity match flawlessly across the entire circumference.
